About
你好!
My name is Caro and I am a passionate martial artist and trainer. I am particularly fascinated by the depth of Chinese kung fu and the close connection to Chinese medicine and culture.
Martial arts are no longer a hobby for me – it is my passion – my way of life.

My journey in martial arts
I’ve always enjoyed being active. When I was 14, I experimented with archery and finally found my passion in karate training two years later. Since that time, sports have played a crucial role in my life. During my chemistry studies, I invested every spare moment to karate and fitness training, participated in seminars on weekends and eventually began teaching students myself.
My experiences in China
In 2017, I fulfilled a long-awaited dream: I wanted to learn kung fu in China. I lived at a Shaolin Kung Fu school in Henan for 7 months. The intensive training, in which I not only pushed my physical and mental limits but also the simple life there, had a lasting impact on me. After returning to Germany, I continued my Kung Fu training at Vo-Dao-Viet-Nam in Aachen.
My fascination for China and its culture took me back to Beijing in 2019, where I studied wushu at Beijing Sports University. Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic forced me to return to Germany early. In order to continue working professionally as a trainer, I trained as a fitness instructor and regularly taught Qi Gong, Karate and Kung Fu.
In 2024, I moved back to China, this time to Shandong Province, where I trained for a year at the Weihai Kung Fu Academy in Shenjing Shan. There I learned the praying mantis style, tai chi and sanda. And my journey is far from over!
My vision
I want to teach martial arts and share my knowledge with you. For me, martial arts is much more than just techniques, forms or self-defense – it is a holistic practice that connects body, mind and soul.
Martial arts is a journey of self-discovery that not only promotes physical fitness, but also brings mental strength and self-confidence.
The journey is the destination.
Through my close connection to China and the exchange with the people there, I would also like to promote cultural dialog between China and Europe. I like to share insights into life in China, the culture and the people – not from a tourist perspective, but from the perspective of a German who has really experienced the country.
What else I do…
I am very interested in nutrition and Chinese medicine. In order to develop a holistic understanding of health and therapies, I trained as an alternative practitioner. I have continued my training in Chinese medicine both in Germany and in China.
On my blog
On my blog, I share videos, personal experiences, and tips about my Kung Fu training and my life in China. I want to give you inspiration to improve your own training. Additionally, I write about the rich tradition and history of Chinese martial arts and aim to bring you closer to Chinese culture. Do you have any wishes or questions about a specific topic? I would be happy to create a video or write a post about it!
